What is Darshana?
Swap the mark sheet for a portfolio.
Darshana is a hands-on internship for teenagers aged 15 to 18. Interns spend three months building real products, not writing case studies about what they would do.
The world is quietly shifting from scores to portfolios. Darshana prepares interns for that shift. It is built to help teenagers find their own strengths and build core confidence.
Marks. Rank. Compare.
Everything outside feels like a competition: grades, rank, compare.
Projects. Feedback. Portfolio.
Interns finish with documented, real-world project work.
The framework
Three ways of learning, in every project.
Learning that only reaches the head does not stick. Darshana works on all three at once.
Head: understand the world first
Building context to understand the modern world, so interns know what a problem is before they try to solve it.
Heart: express, feel, enjoy
Creative expression, emotional development, and fun. Yes, fun is part of the program.
Hand: make things, take action
The active, exciting process of making things and taking real-world action. This is where the portfolio comes from.
How Darshana works
One real project. Two-week sprints.
The same four steps, every fortnight, for three months. Tap a step to see what happens.
Plan
Set goals and prepare. Know what you are building and why.
Build
Create and develop solutions. Skills are taught only when the project needs them.
Share
Present progress and receive honest feedback from entrepreneurs.
Reflect
Learn from experience, adjust, and iterate. Then the next sprint begins.
Three months, in two-week sprints
Roughly six two-week sprints, building toward one portfolio. Not a weekend workshop.
The project is the teacher
Technical and life skills are introduced only when the project needs them. Experts guide the team only when it discovers a specific need. Tap a skill to see how it works.
Pick a skill to see when it shows up.
Mentors, not evaluators
Feedback from people who have built things.
Entrepreneurs review the work. Nobody ranks the interns.
Fortnightly reviews
Entrepreneurs give honest, real-world feedback on the work every two weeks, in place of traditional grades.
Fortnightly field visits
Dedicated full days visiting businesses and sites directly relevant to what interns are building.
Expert talks, when needed
Experts are called in only when the team discovers a specific gap, not as lectures in advance.
What interns leave with
A portfolio, a way of seeing, a community.
A real portfolio
Documented, real-world project experience, plus life-skills development with varied perspectives.
Dhrishti
Enhanced self-awareness and a mature way of seeing the world, despite societal and peer pressure.
- Understanding roles and biases without inherited assumptions.
- Handling societal and peer pressure without losing your own voice.
- Learning to define your own life instead of living someone else's script.
A community
A multi-age environment where learning is focused on growth rather than rankings or comparison.
